AER Project Services provides hands-on project delivery support to the offshore wind sector — from early design through to offshore handover.
We work directly with developers, EPCs, T&I Contractors, and fabrication yards, offering senior-level oversight and practical guidance. Our focus is always on aligning quality, schedule, and cost — ensuring teams stay coordinated throughout the project lifecycle.
Whether it's supplier readiness, fabrication, offshore execution, or final handover, our role is to represent the client’s interests and bring clarity where it's needed most.
“Clarity, Oversight, and Delivery — Concept to Completion.”
After years of working on complex projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors, we saw something missing — not capability, but intent. Too often, delivery became transactional. A job was done, a box was ticked, and an invoice followed. Few stepped back to ask: *Is this right for the project?*
AER was created to change that.
We exist to bring clarity, structure, and ownership to every stage of a project. When we’re involved, we take genuine responsibility for the outcome. If our role ends early or we work ourselves out of scope, we see that as success — because the project is where it needs to be.
We don’t just turn up to deliver a service. We strive to establish long-term relationships founded on trust, consistency, and shared objectives. When our clients succeed, we succeed — and that’s how we measure value.
We’re not here for the chaos. We’re not here for the invoice. We’re here because we believe in doing things right, supporting good people, and helping deliver great projects — from Concept to Completion.
That’s why AER was created.

Alan Rasmussen is the founder and director of AER Project Services. A civil and structural engineer by background, he began his career in design offices, working on large, complex projects in the UK and internationally.
He later moved to site, where he saw firsthand how different things can look in practice compared to drawings and calculations. That combination of office and site experience shaped his approach to project delivery and highlighted the importance of bridging the two.
In 2018, Alan moved into offshore wind and found his niche in fabrication, quality, and project execution. Having worked on both sides — the office and the site — he understands how they must complement one another for a project to succeed. That balance became the foundation for AER Project Services: offering cradle-to-grave involvement, with the ability to see the bigger picture while staying connected to the detail on the ground.
Alan has overseen jacket foundations, transition pieces, monopiles, offshore substations, and mission-critical installation tools across Europe, China, and the Middle East. Alongside technical delivery, he places strong emphasis on building relationships, networking, and knowledge-sharing — helping teams and individuals grow as professionals.
Through AER Project Services, he offers expertise in fabrication management, quality assurance, project execution, and end-to-end delivery support — guiding projects from concept through to completion. He brings clear leadership, calm decision-making, and a collaborative approach that makes the most of people’s strengths while keeping projects firmly on track.
For him, it’s always “One team. One project.” — from first concept to Completion power.
